This set of striped caravan carpets really are a sight to behold. Our customer wanted something a little different from the norm. Plain caravan carpets have been done time and again, the idea of utilising the stripe is actually a very clever move.
Striped carpets can make a narrow space – like a caravan – feel that much bigger. If it’s a short space, the stripes running down the length of the area can make the space look longer. Using the stripes across the width can make the room look wider. It’s a simple optical illusion, but boy, does it work.
To ensure a pattern match for the stripes running down the length takes a little bit of practise. Most carpets when being cut for a room are cut from the top, we cut our templates from the back. This means that we are effectively blind to the pattern on the top. Our experienced team spent the time to get the pattern match exactly perfect before going ahead with the cutting.
Finishing off the striped caravan carpets beautifully, a simple colour match on one of the grey stripes was chosen for the binding. As you can see, this set of striped caravan carpets will be the perfect compliment to their caravan.
