How to stop rugs moving – or your money back!

So, you want to know how to stop rugs moving. Take it from us, nails in the corner aren’t the answer. Yes, we’ve had someone try this before and it ruined their rug. But what can you do to stop rugs from moving all over the place.

There are so many tips, trick and life hacks showing how to stop rugs moving, but none of them have worked. How do we know? Because you’re reading this Blog.

We have tried them all too. We only want to supply our customers with a product that we truly believe in. Something tried and tested that lasts the test of time. Guess what.. we have the solution! It’s not some miracle spray, no useless rubber netting. There’s not even a fancy name for it – we just call it rug antiskid.

Our rug antiskid even comes with a money back guarantee, how’s that for product confidence.

So how does it work?

First of all, the antiskid must cover the majority of the rug. An inch gap on each side of the rug is recommended for best effect. Available in three different sizes, we can cut the antiskid to the size of your rug in store whilst you wait.

Roll up your offending rug and pop it to the side for now. Ensure the flooring that the antiskid is lying on is clean and dry.

For larger rugs, it may be easier to lay the antiskid down with someone around to help lay it in the right place.

If you have a rug moving around on carpet, then lay the antiskid with the black side up, grey side up for smooth flooring.

Lay your rug on top of the antiskid and you’re done. All without the use of ten inch nails.

Once the antiskid has been laid on the floor, try to avoid regular lifting. This will reduce the longevity of the antiskid.

If the antiskid is washed or dry cleaned, it runs the risk of removing the specially formulated coating the stops rugs from moving.
