Carpet rugs are exactly that, rugs made from carpets. Fortunately for us, not only do we have the facility to make carpet rugs in store, we also have unlimited access to carpets.
Believe it or not, sometimes we do get a quiet day here or there. They don’t happen often, but when they do, we like to take advantage. One way of us taking advantage of a quieter day is to make up some carpet rugs for our stock. Our carpet rugs have always been a fast seller for us, and our newest carpet rugs will probably sell even faster.
We have chosen a selection of popular carpets and cut them from the roll stock in the carpet warehouse downstairs at Simply Carpets Plymouth. Once we have a large piece of carpet laid out, we can then figure out the best way to get a variety of sizes to cater for all needs.
Once we have figured out the best way to utilise the carpet, we then set about cutting out all the rugs – you would be surprised how much carpet is used to make just one rug. When we have enough carpet rugs all cut out, we then set about binding the edges.
Josie, our master machinist then gets to work on choosing the colour for the binding and getting them all whipped up and ready to go into stock.

As you can see, if it’s a bargain you’re looking for, it’s a bargain you’ve found. These carpet rugs are made from polypropylene, a material that has proved to be extremely durable time and time again.
