Meet The Staff
Tony (AKA Fringey or Fringe) - Founder
Fringes of Plymouth is the baby and legacy of Tony Stevens, lovingly known as Fringe. Unfortunately Tony passed away in the May of 2017 leaving his business to his daughter, Charlotte.
Fun fact: When he's not enjoying a round of Golf, Tony can often be found in the local cake shop getting treats for the team.
Charlotte - Owner/Proprietor
When Charlotte started working for Fringes of Plymouth she was dominantly working accounts and very close to her father. Shadowing Tony taught her everything that she needed to know to take up the mantel as the new owner of Fringes of Plymouth. She strives to take the business forward as Tony would have wanted.
Fun fact: Charlotte likes to view her staff as friends rather than her employees.
Josie
Having worked at Fringes for over 20 years, Josie is possibly the most integral part of the team (though none of us like to admit it). Josie has the role of being the primary machinist. There are very few people that can bind carpets quite as well as Josie. With a radiant smile and light sense of humour, Josie is a favourite with many of our customers.
Fun fact: Josie started Fringes of Plymouth doing an admin apprenticeship.
Chris
Coming to us from a leading carpet superstore, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. That and he's pretty handy with a Stanley knife! Your carpets will be in safe hands with Chris.
Fun fact: As an avid Formula 1 fan, Chris takes time off every year to watch the Formula 1 at Silverstone.
